For several years after I finished my radio conversion and RCA record player conversion, I received emails fellow FL member asking me to convert radios, the reality is that at the time the project was not more than a mere prototype, because I used parts from many others electronics ( like old VCR and PC’s) parts that are not commercially available. So the project ended been a very nice functionally project but too much work to make it commercially viable.

But, also in all these years, due to the attention this project produced, I have been looking for a way to convert theses radios, making them affordable to everyone but at the same time been flexible enough to be able to be adapted to virtually any car radio ever produced.
With some others companies offering a whooping price of $900.00! For simple AM/FM conversion with some signal-seeker radio and backlogged for more than 14 weeks! I decided to do something about it and offer something better and economically affordable for everybody.

Finally after years looking and acquiring the proper tooling, using the ultra reliable PIC Microcontrollers as a base on my research I found several components that I can make a full digital FM radio and sound customization possible, and mainly to avoid the installation of an aftermarket radio in your dash, inside the glove box, under the seat, dash or center floor hum!.

My conversion is focused in keep the outside appearance of your radio completely stock including the knobs, and this is not a generic expensive “one fit all” project like those in the market right now, the service I’m offering it is YOU decide how want your radio customized for example, what interior or exterior part you wish to be removed, type of display or modification in any way or form possible, options, saved or returned original parts to you once the job is completed, and always paying utmost respect theses old radios …
Parting form a basic Stereo digital FM conversion w/full exclusive IR small remote they are many options available as they are listed below, also no “black box” in the trunk everything I do is integrated on the original radio.

My goal is focusing theses conversions on a customer 100% satisfaction, backing my work with a full warranty and most important keeping the customer informed of the progress. I’m starting right now with the FL world but with a hopefully plan to expand it to the rest of the collector car world.

LOL Fins...
Good luck Denis. I would take you up on this but I had mine converted last year. Fortunately I didn't pay an obscene amount of scratch and got some of what you offer.

Thanks for the interest guys

-1961plymouthfury, thanks for ask. Yes that's the 3.5mm cable (included) for, directly from the radio to your CD player. If you know a bit about MP3 music, you can have thousands of song in $8 pen drive (also called Flash Drive), SD car or free from your cellphone and never worry about a skipping CD ever again.

-The FM is struggling against the new technology, like MP3, SD card, Flash drives and Pandora. Printed Circuit Boards or (PCB) for AM radio are almost nonexistent, but still part of my options package if someone want it.

-The engine management system will be available as a discrete, independent display system for converted radios or original AM, with out interfering with any other electronics/Tubes inside. I'm also working in a RPM tachometer option, even with audible warnings for the different systems to owner choice. The sky is the limit.

-finsruskw: cruising with your favorite, music or Pandora stations in high definition sound change completely your experience, my wife did it with her favorite music via Bluetooth and she was simply amazed

-Thanks Mark and Glen!
