I've been looking for a while for a sway bar for my 60 Plymouth Suburban also. I think, a couple years ago, there was a thread on ones from other cars that might work but not sure. Hopefully, someone will jump in with a suggestion of some options? Maybe try posting under suspension and see if anyone can help.

Have you checked with Big M?
I bought a sway bar with all the parts from him.

This is the break down for the sway bars for '59 and '60. There were only two part numbers issued to sway bars that cover both years. I haven't check on later or earlier years, but can if anyone wants to know.

For '59 and '60 : All Plymouth, All Dodge, DeSoto Fire sweep, Chrysler Windsor used the same sway bar. 6 and 8 cylinder cars both used the same bar. Station wagon models also included in this group as well. Same part number covers both years.

For '59 and '60: "Big" DeSoto, Chrysler Saratoga and New Yorker, and Imperial used the same sway bar. Wagon models included if applicable.

The related hardware for the sway bars are pretty much the same all the way across the board, with the exception of the bushings and end cushions.

In '60 Imperial used it's own bushings and end cushions. These part numbers were also available as "Heavy Duty" options on the Saratoga and New Yorker. Presumably the DeSoto "Flites and Adventurers had this option available as well, but it's not called out specifically in the Parts Master.

In '59 The Big DeSotos, Big Chryslers, and Imperials all used the same bushings and cushions.

can a '59-'62 Imperial bar be modified to work on a Dodge or Plymouth. I have a few Imperials from those years.
