...Somebody's gotta do it; showing the colors.

What's that Swedish term, for sitting in your car, and dreaming about doing this?

We all have many things to be thankful-for.

Our cars are Happy-mobiles; when they're runnin right, nothing else matters.

Actually, Joakim, Horrie was running on fumes, but I told him to be patient...

This is my backyard; the 13K' mountains on both sides of a 10 mile wide valley
literally keep out (most of-) the bad weather that inflicts itself on either side.

We have to suffer through +/- 330 days of sunshine each year.

Neil.is the term you're looking for, "wishful thinking"?

I'll trade you a few tornados for a couple of hundred sunny days, together with 40+ inches of annual rainfall . . . . . . .

Nice pictures Neil. That pea-gravel road-top surface must be noisy at high speeds though !

Happy Thanksgivjng to fellow Forward Look members. That certainly is a great pic of your car Neil, & the backdrop is exceptional. Sure beats the weather in the north east this time of year. I am counting the weeks until I can get my car out again.

LOL; that is not U.S. Highway 395, but a county road that is sometimes used for high-speed test drives (right, Matthew?)

Our rainfall is +/- 4" a year; we're in the rain shadow of the Sierra Nevada mountains, but have a tremendously
large, renewable, aquifer, that L.A. is tapped into; that's why there is not much commercial development, here, L.A. has the water rights (300 miles away; see Chinatown) and deigns to lease out surface-rights to ranching interests.

Walt; your 40" was not a misprint? We skirted a tornado or two on our way to Tulsa in '07.

Gary, Highway 395 goes from CAN to SoCal and is a wonderfully scenic byway.

You can see the cloud formations on either end of the 130 mile long "Deepest Valley".

They're predicting a couple of feet of snow for the Buffalo area so hopefully tomorrow night's Bills game will not be postponed....
