This is a great show, it's at the Renoylds-Alberta Museum and also Canada's Aviation hall of fame, so it's great because if you get bored of looking at the cars you can your the fantastic new air conditioned museum. There's a cafeteria there too. They are expecting 500 cars to be there, and they are organized in chronological order on the grounds. Marty (NorthernFins) and family and I will be there.

Gleaming paint, the curve of chrome and head-turning good looks will be on display June 8 and 9 at History Road: the Ultimate Car Show weekend.

History Road is a spectacular display of more than 500 cars, trucks and motorcycles spanning more than a century of automotive history. The lineup features rare vehicles from Reynolds-Alberta Museum’s collection and those of enthusiasts from across Alberta and western Canada. From open-bodied roadsters to 1960’s muscle cars; from tiller handle steering to electronic fuel injection and everything in between.

The Alberta Motor Associations Green Team will be on site to give visitors money saving tips on driving today’s vehicles, including a Prius and Chevy Volt that AMA will have on display.

In addition to the display, the 1905 Cadillac, a 1923 Stanley Steamer, the 1934 Citroen Half-Track and more, will be fired up and driven in the “Parade Through the Century” starting at noon each day.

At the end of each day, all show participants can get into the action as they "cruise" through the City of Wetaskiwin.

The Museum's feature exhibit, "The Fabulous Fifties" will speak to the car lover in all of us, as we "pop the clutch" and "cruise" through the decade. Topics include:

Designer Influences: the People behind the Designs
Car Tunes
Drive-Ins
Only in Canada
Foreign Invasion
Chrome Dreams: Colour and Style
Aviation Influence
The Reynolds-Alberta Museum would like to thank the following sponsors for their involvement with this special event: the City of Wetaskiwin and the Alberta Motor Association.

If you only go to one show a year and don`t want to leave Central Alberta, this is the show to go to!

Their special exhibits alone are almost worth the trip, the new one "the fabulous Fifties" sounds pretty good.

Who`s going?

less than a week until the show, anyone on here going Saturday?

We could make it the biggest FL gathering in Central Alberta in recent history?

If anyone is going, that is.

Great pics, thanks for posting them!

The Regent sedan is particularly interesting to me, as it is the same colours as mine should be (except reversed). Do you have more pics or info on it? Was the interior black and white?

Thanks!
