Expert Posts: 1730 Location: Michigan | Gary hand crafts a lot of the parts he sells. (according to the write up in the catalog) I found this out after I was worried about my order... just needed a bit more patience and if you use his website to contact him, they will call to give you a status. Good people, no worries.

Posts: 19146 Location: bishop, ca | Ron Waters just forwarded this to this website's Daily List Server message board (from another source): I just got off the phone with Bob Hayen who lives in Kalispell Montana (same town as Gary Goers). Apparently Gary had injured his leg a while back but yesterday he fell outside and broke his ankle. Char (the gal that looks after his orders) got him to the hospital. They are in process of operating on Gary as we speak. It looks like gangarene may have been setting in that leg so hopefully he will be able to fully recover. Bob will have further report later on. Bob did offer to help folks that have outstanding orders if so required. Bob's email info is: robert554@centurytel.net

Expert Posts: 1730 Location: Michigan | I am going to send him a card. Gary and Char are such good people. I can't imagine trying to find the stuff he sent me to redo the front clip on my 55. No one does what he does for us. I urge you all to take a moment and send him a card or note with your best wishes. 37 Amdahl Lane, Kalispell, MT 59901 If you haven't ordered something from him at some point you will. There are so many things he makes you can only get from Gary. He keeps our hobby alive and I would not have a FL vehicle today that I could restore like this without him. I tried this once before in an earlier life, before the internet, with a 67 Coronet. I sold it because I couldn't get rubber seals and sheet metal. I remember that vividly. Now Gary isn't a big internet guy I know, but I would have never found all of you guys, and then hence Gary, without the internet. I suggest sending him a card because snail mail is his thing. :D

Extreme Veteran Posts: 424 Location: Harrison, NY | I spoke to Gary last night and he was in good spirits although in some pain. He received Pins and screws to fix his ankle and the healing will take some time. He was kind enough to take my call at which time he told me what he went through. He is a great Person and lets all ask the Man upstairs for a speedy recovery for him. He will try to get orders out as soon as possible from what he told me and my answer was forget the parts and get well quickly. Joe C NY

Exner Expert 19,174 posts. Neil passed away 18 Sep 2015. You will be missed, Neil! Posts: 19146 Location: bishop, ca | Newest status on Gary, from Rich Barber, via the 300 Clubs... Our friend, member of both Chrysler 300 clubs, supplier of Chrysler 300 and other MoPar restoration and reproduction items and fellow Chrysler 300 aficionado, Gary Goers, recently severely injured a leg and ankle. I've had the following update on his condition from Gary's helper, Charlotte: He had a great surgeon and plenty of titanium. However, it will be awhile before he is able to walk again. He has been working a few hours a day, making rubber parts. He sits in his wheel chair until the pain becomes unbearable and he has to go in the house to get his leg elevated. The gangrene threat has passed. It will be at least 6 weeks before he gets any real work done. His surgery went well. Thanks, for inquiring about his health. Gary is a great guy and should recover soon. Edited by d500neil 2012-12-12 4:46 PM

That guy definitely needs to slow down, but who would ever be able to do what he does.... he's been working at this stuff for 30 years about 7 days a week mostly without help!

Expert 5K+ Posts: 7206 Location: Victoria, BC, on Vancouver Island, Canada | I just received this update on Gary forwarded from my friend John Chesnutt in Portland: Hi, For those of you who are not members of the 300 Club, Int'l. here is the latest on Gary Goers. We need to pray for healing for Gary and his wife Alana. John C. Good Morning Group, I just spoke with Charlotte re a pending order, and she advised that Gary re-entered the hospital yesterday with a stubborn blood clot in his leg. Charlotte expects that Gary will be in the hospital for the next week or so, and probably won't be 'back at work' for about the next 3 weeks. His drive to deliver us our Chrysler parts clearly hasn't helped his healing process! Noel Hastalis Chicago, IL

Elite Veteran Posts: 640 Location: Falcon, CO | I talked to Charlotte yesterday and she said that Gary is still hurting and stiff from the cold weather. He usually works for about an hour in the morning and sometimes comes back in the afternoon if he feels up to it. As soon as I mentioned my name, Charlotte tells me that my order is almost ready to ship. I told her that there's no rush this time of the year and gave her and Gary my best for the new year.
