Hope to be able to visit some more events again in the future. Västerås is much nicer than before with plenty of good cars, going there again as usual next year. As for the Olla family, they have lived in Malung since 1785, maybe longer ... Some more pics from summers fun ![]()

Veteran Posts: 155 ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Mandurah, Western Australia | Thanks for the feedback on welding technique Jan. I just saw it today when I looked at your latest amazing product for the convertible. I would love a convertible but here in Oz I am very lucky to have a 55 RHD 4 door suburban wagon with stubby chicken wings. I agree with your advice, I probably get impatient and go too fast. I use mig with gas and 0.6mm wire, and the weld bead is very hard which makes it difficult to straighten. Is this normal or do you use a different method?

So I never considered buying something that looks like a clumsy, wrinkly tent on wheels and never bought one (even though they were still cheap in the 80s)

But I know that many buyers today pay big bucks for cloned convertibles. But of course you can enjoy riding in a cloned convertible. I think this. Edited by Windsor59 2020-12-22 12:50 AM

I had a convertible once but my wife always complained when the roof was down. And for me it`s more important to show the car than to show the people inside it..but the only thing that matters is that everybody can have it their own way
