Subject: OOB Car Show had a few FLs

Location: the Great Northeast		Old Orchard Beach Maine had their 19th annual parade and car show.

Friday night was parade time and their were hundreds of cars. The first picture I have of Main St only shows about 1/3 of the cars in 5 rows across the street. I kept wondering where the cars were coming from as they pulled into line. They do a great job of keeping the cars coming down the street and as a viewer, plan on standing there a good while as they parade past. You can see a 58 Plymouth go by. I really had to hold back when a fellow beside me said "What an UGLY car! Who would restore that!" Everyone to his opinion... no matter how misinformed.

Saturday, they had all the cars in a park and stationary. I found the 58 Plymouth and also the 61 Windsor I had seen at Cabelas along with a lot of other fine Mopars including a nice 49 Dodge convertible. I also saw a neat Canadian Merc towing a funky little trailer, and tons of rods and Mustangs and T-Birds and Fords and Chevys and.... well, you get the picture.

Although the FLs were light, it was still a great show.

Location: the Great Northeast		I just heard from the owners of the black 61 Windsor that they won 1st place for best of the 60's at this show. Congrats to them! Nice to see FL taking the awards.
