The wife and went to the Portland Motor Club car show in Portland Maine. There is not a lot of FL in the area as the late 50's early 60's was a time of much salt on the Maine Winter Roads.

The cars and trucks were pretty much as expected, then we went into the PMC facility. They have a really nice collection of mostly Mopar vehicles.

What first caught my eye was a 57 Royal Custom convertable.
Then a 60 Pioneer that started life as a regular but got restored to a cop car.
A cool chopped 57 Suburban wagon was great in blue.
Next to it, a 62 wagon was good to see. Other wagons were in the row, we are lucky they were preserved.
The 63 Polara is in good company as well.

It was great to see a few FLs and some later Mopars as well.

-Bill

Hi Dave,

My wife and I will do either the Fri cruise or Sat show depending on weather. We will be spectators though

On my 61 Newport, the engine is back from rebuild and the firewall has been pressure washed but it still needs paint and reassembly. My brakes were also pulling HARD to the right so I am having the rubber lines replaced (fluid is clear and flushed, lines are unkinked and components have all been inspected)

Do you live in the area? I am in Auburn.

Regards,

-Bill
