Member Posts: 17 Location: Burrillville, RI | Well, this is what brought me to this site, the 59 Chrysler Windsor that I just purchased last week. She's rough but has potential I believe. I believe it's the original 383, pushbutton auto. have all the trim work with her. Needs the front floors, trunk, trunk extensions, a rear quarter and rocker done, first and foremost. Member Posts: 17 Location: Burrillville, RI | So I gave her a tune up and rebuilt the carb last weekend, purs like a kitten! I have my work cut out for me as far as bodywork. It also looks like possibly the drivers rear quarter was replaced at some point early on, possibly from a accident. It's show tell tale signs that the seams in the rear have been fooled with and if you look where it aligns with the trunk lid, it seems to sag on the drivers side. I'll know more when I get ino her. She'll be going to the shop soon and it will stripped down to bare chassis and start from there.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 362 Location: North Carolina | My first Forward Look car was a '59 Windsor with a 383 for $1200.00. I NEVER should have sold that car. It was very dependable & fast. I got it over 100mph and it wasn't even close to pegging out, however the original suspension was suspect, so I backed off.
