Regular Posts: 66 ![]() ![]() Location: Washington,DC | I have a unrestored Matador for sale. It has minimal rust in trunk and rear quarters. It was a two tone car has now a blue Polara interior. It has a 361 engine but is not running. Swivel front seats, spinners wheel covers, radio, PS, and PB. It wears the original "deep burgundy" and "satin" (white) paint. Car needs restoration. No parts are missing. $8500.00 OBO. Located in western Wisconsin. You can pm me with questions. Could you kindly post up a pic of your car's Paint /Trim data plate for us? Thanks! Your car is very fairly priced, for the right owner. What is its mileage; do you know the car's ownership/driving history? Edited by d500neil 2011-05-27 4:48 PM

These are too small... maybe they have been made-up but from something else, but the correct ones overlap the edge of the rim right to the tire, and where the bars attach to the center part of the cover there is a lip around them. Compare photos below. Edited by imopar380 2011-05-27 11:32 PM (60-rear-a.jpg) (wheelcover.JPG) Attachments ---------------- ![]() ![]()

You can make them out of regular caps but if you do not know the difference it will not matter. I saw that also

Regular Posts: 66 ![]() ![]() Location: Washington,DC | A couple of you requested engine picture, see attached. Whoever changed out interior for Polara interior put in a 61 steering wheel. I have a 60 solid color wheel to go with car, as well as non-spinner wheel cover set. Wheel covers shown are steel after-market. The factory ones have the little raised outline on them. You can make them out of regular caps but if you do not know the difference it will not matter. I saw that also The caps on the car for sale are also narrower units if you look - they don't extend over the edge of the rim. Those type of covers were used on the Canadian 1960 Dodges ( no spinners on the Canadian 60 Dodges though) and again on 1963 Chryslers. The non-spinner covers on the US built 60 Dodges were the wider diameter variety like the spinner units. So be interesting to know where these particular ones came from. They could possibly be after-market units. Edited by imopar380 2011-05-28 7:19 PM

Exner Expert 10K+ Posts: 10177 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: So. Cal | Call me crazy if you like, but I would bet money that this is my same car, many years earlier. From the '61 steering wheel, the rusted paint pattern on the fender & trunk lid (which is 100% identical), the swivel front seat (now missing), to the blue Polara interior and original paint scheme, everything is identical. I wonder why the engine didn't continue with the car. It's not like a 361 is super desirable.
