Elite Veteran Posts: 734 Location: Torino - Italy | springsweptwing - 2015-12-08 8:35 PM Hi raffaele , you're car looks to have had manual windows in originally, you will have to remove the blanks where the original winder handles came through as that's where you window switches will be , also the front doors and pillars will need drilling for the wiring to go through, you will see a indentation in the steel where the holes are located, Also I see you have left the grill in silver , if it was a replacement bumper as in the picture with the guards, yours may have been Gold , I know there are a few Adventurer's with silver , but I think the Gold does make the front stand out more , Looking good anyway, Just looking at the underhood shots , I noticed that the plates from the inner fenders to firewall are missing? Paul.
Ok Thanks. .. I will make this modify for power windows. . .my original grill was Gold .. I'm sure of this .. was Gold plated like Hubcaps. ..what do you mean for inner fenders plates? ?

I like the Bumper Guards .... But i don't success to find. ... Are they the same as on a 1958 Chrysler? If so, I might be able to find some for you, as this car is being parted out: 58's will work on '57 DeSoto. They have to be welded on the inside to match the bumper flat for the license plate (bumper guard RIGHT ILLUSTRATION.jpg) Attachments ---------------- bumper guard RIGHT ILLUSTRATION.jpg (71KB - 335 downloads)

Expert Posts: 1737 Location: Hay Lakes, Alberta, Canada | Raffaele, I was wondering if you have a close up picture, of your rear power window regulators? I'm working on power windows for my '57 Chrysler, but until now, I've never been able to find anyone with a picture of the regulators out of their car! Thanks,

Elite Veteran Posts: 836 Location: Layton, Utah | SUPER AWESOME CAR !!! Beautiful mellow blending colors inside and out. It's my favorite color selection for the 57 Adventurers . That's why I had to have one also. Could I ask where you got the checkered panel behind the forward look emblems ? I could paint them but I'm sure there would be paint lines. Thanks. Cory. DeSoto lives !!!
