I'm trying to piece together an exhaust system so that I can at least take my car for a trip around town. Currently, there is no exhaust hooked up. I have one flange (two bolt style) that I'm going to use, but I'm missing the other. If I can locate another, I can probably put an exhaust together with the bends I have on hand. Are these readily available?

Are you talking flanges to make custom headers, or just need an ex man? What engine?

I'm talking about the stock flange that attaches to the manifold. I'm running a '61 413, but I believe they used the same flange as the original 318 poly.

You mean the one on the pipe itself, if so Napa has a universal replacement 2 and 3 bolt, try them.

Hola Don

All 350's, 361's, 383's, 413's, 426 wedge's and 440's used the same two bolt Exhaust Manifold to Header Pipe flat flange.

When the 383 was dropped and the 400 entered, the 440 and the 400 used the "donut design" flange.

The Magnum Series 383's and 440's used an Two Bolt Flat Exhaust Flange that matched their diam opening.

This is why the "... Ahh just go to NAPA" statement is made.

Where are people getting the 4 bolt exhaust flanges for the hemi motor manifolds? I have an old pair of them, but they have 1.75" pipes on them so it kinda defeats the purpose of the bigger exhaust outlet. I would rather not try to cut these out to 2.5" myself, so where can I get new ones? If I have to get them custom made, any suggestions for a cheap water jet shop that can cut them out for me without sending me to the poor house?

I am thinking of making a bunch of these flanges while I make enough for me to use and pass them on to others to reduce the cost for everyone. I am not sure, because I still need to check with the machine shop, but I think I should be able to get them for around $15-$20 per flange. Maybe less if I can make more, or a little more if there isn't much interest in them. I am thinking of making them from 3/8 mild steel. Stainless is a possibility too. Would there be any interest in them if I were to do so?
