Fall fling is coming up on Saturday. I am planning on being there without my car. I am working on my Cuda at the moment and the Savoy is still waiting its turn. Any get together plans out there, possibly for Friday night?

Aivar, BadMike58 and a friend of his that has a "Christine" and I will be there on Saturday.
I will be bringing the 64 Polara 500, that I brought brand new, as my 59 vert is still in the
shop for Repairs after a girl turned left in front of me, forcing me to take evasive action and
clobber a curb, rather than Her.
Aivar will be bring the 58 Dodge Regal Lancer, and Mike will also be bring "Christine"

Gee, I hope that curb is alright! Just kidding. Hope it isn't too much damage. These cars are pretty tough though. My '57 Dodge truck was hit at 35 mph while it was parked behind a telephone pole by a Toyota truck. It completely destroyed the Toyota and I just had to make a new flatbed tail light panel, straighten the front bumper and the front fender a little....and it was as good as.... it was before.

So far, it looks like 2 wheels, 2 tires were totalled and a hubcap bent.
Wheels supposed to be here tomorrow, will know more one they gets
wheels and tires on it and check alignment and then road test it
Yep, It totalled the Curb

Dang, Gary, sorry to hear of your mishap, but at least the damage was minor.

You guys have a good time at the show, I'd be there if we weren't en route to Tennessee. ---John

My beast in in the shop, but I'll be there. Hopefully it'll be done today. Minor brake stuff.

Hey Gary, last Spring I got there too late to park on the grass field. How early should I arrive to park with you guys?

I know that they close the gates at 10AM for the Spring Fling, and Aivar thinks they do the same for the Fall Fling.

We plan to get there a little before 10.
I really hope to get to see your car this time.
I am bringing my Video Camera, so maybe we can
get some pictures of it.

Some good news too.
The shop that was reapairing my 59 called
and said it is ready to be picked up, sooooo
tomorrow (Friday), I will pick it up, test drive it some
and if all is ok , I will take it to the Fall Fling.

Gary
