I think the snowy one with the green 55 Chrysler is very likely to be Snoqualmie Pass which is on the I-90 highway east of Seattle WA.

Yes, it looks like Snoqualmie just East of the summit. I probably drove that route a couple hundred times, but I didn't notice it in the picture. Good eye!

I remember the Safford-Gaide dragster, they started out running an Olds before the Hemi. Their Olds-powered car has been recreated for cacklefests. Here's a pic of them at a 2005 Cacklefest.
