His memory is getting pretty foggy and I'm not very well educated on these forward look cars yet, I've always been a muscle car era kind of dude "1955–1959 Coronet Lancer, Royal Lancer and Custom Royal Lancer Dodge used the Lancer name from 1955 to 1959 to designate the two- and four-door hardtop (no B-pillar) models in the full-sized Coronet, Royal, and Custom Royal lines. The Custom Royal Lancer was a hardtop only and top-of-the-line model for Dodge in 1959. " 1956 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer (happens to be a D500 as well - the first "muscle car" - 260hp when even a 56 Chevy with 2 4 bbls only had 225 hp and Ford only had 215 hp) References: 1. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dodge_Lancer 2. Elite Veteran Posts: 1155 Location: somerville mass | 1960 di dia .. andrew di dia a detroit clothing designer who loved cars.. darrin met him and wanted a custom car and di dia did a sketch.. it started in 1953 took 7 years and cost 93.000 to build. di dia died in 2014. it was restored in 1970 and was built in aluminum. looks to have imp headlights .. imp windshield but looks way too wide. it does have a 413/torqueflite. will post its current location. | ||
