Location: Blum, Texas | Hey guys I'm a newb to the mopar sceen and am in need of some direction. I have a '56 coronet and the wheel is busted up pretty bad. It's missing the horn button bad shape overall. I've scoured ebay, cl, and various other forums with none for sale. I bought a metalflake/chrome grant wheel but they make no adapter for it tried to alter one for another application and came up short. My question is what year mopars will fit my stock column without alteration. And if anyone has one resonably priced and decent driver cond. please let me know.

I would bet that the other 55-56 cars would all bolt straight up, and maybe other years as well (?). Becauseof the way they were made, these wheels did not do well under long sun exposure and finding a nice one is ..... well, I think you already figured that one out !
Are you up for a restoration ? Not cheap, but since few things sit closer to you while driving than the steering wheel to either hate or enjoy. Kinda like making sure the hood paint looks perfect, you go that extra mile for the parts you see the most.

Location: Heaven Above (Formerly Oklahoma City,OK) | Chris, if you'll search this website for older posts about steering wheels, you'll find that there is some reasonably decent comments about restoration of your type steering wheel. I had the same problem with the white plastic on my '55 wheel. It was gone. Bought a kit and ''how to' booklet from Eastwood and took it from there. About a week of evenings to rebuild the missing plastic, and then had to paint it. Came looking decent.

Location: Ny | Even if you find one that is in better condition than your current wheel, you can still repair it with the eastwood kit. I've heard so many great results from using it. |

Location: Ny | One will come along eventually. In the meantime, you could always put in a "temp" from another model. |
