Elite Veteran Posts: 1111 Location: Ocala, Florida | Myself and Johnny G will have a vendor spot selling forward look parts at the show this weekend. I know this is a late notice, but hopefully we will get to meet some fellow forwardlookers. Will have the '58 on the show field too. Saturday and Sunday, Ocala, FL. Will get pics to post on the board.

Regular Posts: 90 Location: Orlando Florida | I went. There was no food vendors! I was looking foward to having a sausage with onions. Florida is not the place for fin cars. There was probably about 4 there.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 483 Location: near St Augustine, FL | I saw at least a dozen forwardlookers... in addition to the pics I have posted here, there was a blue & white 58 savoy, 58 copper & white belvedere, white 59 Coronet.. mostly muscle cars? yep, but we were represented... I am dispointed that I didn't get to meet/see Al and John... Elite Veteran Posts: 990 | I was at the show; I have been there every year for the about the last 15. 1) Agreed, food vendors were not the best. BUT, there was a Cracker Barrel, Sonny's BBQ, Zaxby's, and a maybe a couple other places within walking distance. I ate at Sonny's, as I usually do. 2) The ForwardLook era cars were better represented this year than any other year I can remember. 3) I stopped by Johnny's and Al's spot and bought a few nice parts for my '58 Belvedere. 4) The person taking the photos did a great job. He overlooked another '58 Belvedere (big block, four speed, modified) and a '57 Plaza 2dr sedan (6, powerflite, looked like a '50s cruiser). 5) I should have taken one of my ForwardLook cars; I drove my '63 Dodge Polara.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 483 Location: near St Augustine, FL | I saw the Plaza pull in while talking to some friends, didn't see where it went. Didn't take a photo of the other Belvedere because I didn't like it. I shot over 100 photos, those were the FLs I took... Sorry.

Elite Veteran Posts: 990 | Agreed, the fellow taking the photos did a great job. The Plaza went to that strip of land to the left (south) of the entry road. Not sure as to who was allowed to park there, but the Plaza was there along with a few other cars. I also did not care for the '58 Belvedere with the big block four speed.

Elite Veteran Posts: 1111 Location: Ocala, Florida | Here's some pics I took. I did'nt like the orange belvie either. Bad bad choice of wheels and nasty interior. But, here is a pic anyway. Thanks for posting the pic of my red Belvie. Good to meet some of the guys. We had a great time. This '61 Fury pulled in Sunday. Should have saved the cop car replica for a Savoy sedan however. Too nice of a Fury to do this to. It was clean though. Elite Veteran Posts: 990 | I wasn't there Sunday, so I missed some of these cars, including the '61 Fury. Yes, agreed, that poor '61 Fury was too nice to make into a cop car replica. It's also a factory air car. Too bad the hood was down; I would have liked a photo of the A/C system.
