make an offer!

the engine is not seized. it turns over, just doesn't stay running.

there are quite a bit of cosmetic issues...rust creeping in.
but to get it driving again you can ignore those and enjoy the car, or that's what i was going to do.

when i drove it regularly i got about 19 miles per gallon.
i've also had the car over 100 MPH on the highway.

things you need to do to get it driving:

• fix the front driver side door so it opens. the exterior handles is not releasing the star wheel. i can't figure it out. (that's why the front seat is out)
• replace the battery
• buy new tires
• drain the fuel
• patch the driver's side floor (form water leaking in through the space in the window and the rear window gasket)

i was going to get seat covers from jc whitney and leave the seat as they are. the fabric is awesome.

it's a relatively rare car, a four door hard top (no post between the fron and back doors). looks cool with all the windows open...like a convertible with the top up i'm told was the idea.

it beat chevy by a year with the fins. everyone thinks the 1957 chevy bel air was the first caer with fins but this one was.

i'm no motor head and i got this running before. it's fuel delivery and spark. right now there is not a spark, the fuel needs to be repalced. it does NOT have a hemi. push button automatic transmission.

for about eight hundred dollars you can bolt on disc brakes on the front and solve any stopping issues. a project i was going to do, but i still don't have a permanent home for the car in the winter.
