If you are in the market for a 57 New Yorker Wagon, 57 Imperial Sedan, a 57 Desoto Fireflite Sedan or a 59 Dodge Custom Royal you better look at these;

Given the graphics and foxtails etc. being similar, is it safe to assume a collection is to be sold? Does anyone from the forum own know the cars?

As stated by seller:
Chassis No: LC310762
ENG No: 58N12570 (as per ppsr)

These are 1958 NEW YORKER Chassis No. and Engine No. SHOWN

1957 Chrysler New Yorker Chassis No. should be started at N57…; while Engine No. at NE57…

That riveted VIN is also very suspicious. So is it really a '58 New Yorker wagon or a '57?

It has 57 front grill and bumper and 57 taillights but, as Igor pointed out, the VIN suggests 58. (Personally, I like the 57 grill and taillights better than the 58s so I can see the appeal).

I thought the wagon tail lights in 1957 and 1958 were the same?  This wagon also has the 1957 side trim.

I kinda like the mud flaps on those cars too!

Each vehicle is being offered by a different vendor.
I spoke with the gent selling the Dodge at the Chrysler Expo at Rocklea earlier this month.
