This is something that I would rather not do.

Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

What a bargain...perfect driver with muscles and no fancy stuff like radio, power ecquipment. The manual trans makes this an exciting gem.

It appears to be all original and unmolested. My guess is that the undercarriage is in as good of condition as the rest of the car. It would be nice if there was a picture of the trunk compartment.

Wow, beautiful! Unless it's all Bondo, this is a steal. Good thing, you can sell the D500 emblem and you bought the car for $500

No bondo. Spent it's time in California. 1980's repaint is getting thin in spots and some bubbling below the surface due to bad prep I assume. I dug into a couple of them and it's not cancerous.
the real cancer was the rear window channel. I pulled the back glass and got in there good. Pretty sure I got it all out. Time will tell.

As Original as I could get it back to. I sourced NOS rubber mat, found a replacement dash pad, removed the radio and antenna and am running 8.00x14 bias plys.
Unoriginal items are the period correct Dixco tachometer, Hurst/Campbell DP 61 floor shift, oil pressure gauge and early 60's seat belts.
Previous owner installed a remote driver mirror which I would have removed but they drilled a hole in the dash. DOH!

What a car. Great roof line. Murdered-out look better executed on this car than the black-outs on newer models. Nothing better to highlight very cool body lines than chrome and black from front to back.

Good luck with your sale. I can't see why this car is still available. Is the economy that bad?
