I have a 61 that has them. If there from factory or not is the question? I have yet to pull the seat and look for the floor bolt renforcment on the inside seat track. Even if that's there it could still be the same as added. They are also power ,the harness is correctly hooked up and looks factory? I suppose a IBM card would tell? The original owner was in the hospital and I bought the car from his neighbor as he was dealing with his estate matters. The neighbor was in his mid to late 50s and told me remembered playing with the seats when he was 5 years old. That would put them in the car when it was new. The original owner was a Chrysler executive in 61. The car has a unusual high amount of options.
Maybe a autorama show car? What if a Chrysler exc wanted swivels and had them put in at the dealer in 61?
Would that be considered original? The material on the seats are not original and has been custom recovered long ago. My problem is what to do with the original seat material pattern. 61 plys are such a oddball pattern that won't work with swivels.

The swivel seats was available also '61, but the full automatic version was one year only, '60.

The A-pillars was changed in '61 and wont allow installing the full automatic swivel seats

Swivels were available in the Chrysler, Imperial and the DeSoto in '61.

Not in the Dodge or the Plymouth. At least from what I have looked into.

Sven, what was changed on the 1961 A Pillars?

There's recession for the torsion spring hardware in the 60, but the 61 doesn't have any.
If I recall correctly, the lower recession for the cable bracket is not the same on the 61.
