I was busy looking for an example photo of the OE fuel filter on a 270 or 315 Poly with a 2 bbl Stromberg carb when I bumped into a listing and description of the applications of these carbs in the 56 Dodge Factory Service Manual (which I obviously need to read more)

Anyway, this is what I came up with between the FSM and the 55-58 Mopar Parts book. Note that there are some PNs missing and/or inconsistencies between the FSM and the Parts book listings. That could be because the Parts Book that I use was issued in January 1961 whereas the FSM would have been printed fairly early in the 1956 model year.

This is what I put together (for future reference) (NOTE: I can easily correct errors in the table, as needs be):
