Cool cars make cool shadows! I always thought that a black '60 Chrysler looked most like the batmobile.

Sid --
Neat car and pic!
Do you know how did that Golden Commando badge got on the deck lid?
Incidentally, the car looks much like the one I had back in the old days, except I got some chrome skirts from a local auto supply store. The first pair lasted a couple of months as did the second pair. After the second, my insurance company said, "No more," so I pulled the stock wheel covers (which you know I junked) and put baby moons on (wanted Hallibrand mags or chrome reversed wheels, but those were beyond my resources). Those skirts back then cost $19.95, but the ones that are on my current BTB set me back $150.00 in 2000, but at least so far, they haven't served as someone else's midnight auto store.
The '60-'64 car had the green interior. What's yours?
Joe

Thanks Joe! I decided to leave the scare badges off during restoration, as I thought, the side of the 60s is already busy enough. I always thought the decklid is the better place and the competion can look at it longer. Ok, that was in the 80s. Cars are much faster now.

Also, the Plymouth deck lid script was in bad shape and I was never a big fan of the design. In order to move the GC emblem to the trunk, I had to fabricate a stainless filler. After I put it there, I noticed that this small detail has somehow a big impact on the overall appearance, even though I can't explain why. Imo it looks way nicer that way.

As my car is beige with a white top and fender coves, the only interior option was gold. I heard about white interiors, but it is not in the upholstery book and I never saw it on an actual car in real life. There is a picture in the sales brochure, but these were never correct.

My 60 had those stainless skirts too.... don't ask
