Member Posts: 14 Location: Las Vegas, NV | Simple question. Did mopar make a 15 inch hubcap for 1957-58 models? If not, then are reproductions the best bet for 15 inch wheel? Thanks.

yep, you could buy them from JC Whitney. The dodge spinners for 57-58-59 were made and the Plymouths were popular. I think the dodge spinners were the most popular. They seriously listed like 10+ types of these same exact hubcap. without the knight, with the knight, with flags, with a point, checkered center, black center and they were all 14 and 15 inch varieties. The plymouth spun one was also everywhere. this is just one page but there was like 5 pages with "dodge spinners"... the 15 inch Lancer spinners look like s**t if you ask me. That big bump is horrible but this guy has left over JC Whitney ones. I got them cheaper but I am just using the spinners in the middle. By the way these corrode FAST... very cheap You have to be very careful. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1957-DODGE-LANCER-KNIGHT-HEAD-HUB-CAPS-15-NEW-SET-OF-4/181685875559

Other than that, '54-'56 are also 15", but I don't know of any other. But original dog dish caps can be used with any wheel size. As stated above, you can usually get aftermarket '57-'58 Dodge spinners as well as '59 Dodge spinner caps in 15". I haven't seen the Plymouth versions for sale.

Depending on the look you desire, there are some aftermarket ones available. Other easy options would be to use an earlier year, such as any 1956. I assume you are using a disc brake that won't fit a 14" wheel? Otherwise, I'm not really sure what great benefit using a 15 vs a 14 would provide. My personal favorite choice would be to use the 15" wheel cover from the 1959 Imperial. I think they look great as they are styled with the gear theme very much like the 300 wheel covers, but much more readily available and affordable. They come with either a gold gear or silver gear center and (at least in my opinion) fit in with the styling theme of pretty much all 57-64 Chrysler products. Nice sets of the 59 Imperial 15" wheel covers seem to be available pretty much all the time on ebay.
