Location: Sebastian, Fla.		1959 Plymouth-Turn key to ignition ,wire to balist resister smokes up! Changed resister, same thing! Checked wiring all looks great! What now? :stressed:

Location: Newark, Texas (Fort Worth)		Sounds like that wire is grounded. If ballast smoked a wiff or two; that's normal for new ones.
