Hey there!

A couple of months ago we purchased a pair of 1959 Desoto Firedome’s from a junkyard in Pennsylvania. Both cars were originally from Maine- my research shows that the owner of these cars had lived in Vanburen, ME until 1994 when he moved to north central PA to live with his daughter (he was in his 90’s at this time).

I’ve been able to find information about the previous owner and how the cars came to the Pennsylvania area, but I would love to know more about where they originated. I don’t believe the previous owner was the original purchaser of these cars, and it’s not clear as to when he acquired them.

Anyone familiar with this area or might by chance recognize these cars? They are a light blue and a green 1959 Firedome.
