Hey fellow forward lookers,
Any other sources out there, for our cars, other than SMS for headliners? They have quite a few choices but not the one I'm after. Who do other folks use?
Thanks,
billy

I've used ACME Auto Headlining in Southern California. Bob is the guy to talk to at this email address (Bob Westmoreland <bobw@acmeauto.us>)

According to Bob some headliners for our cars were supplied by his business back in the day....Bob's response to my inquiry below. Usually they are wholesale only but contact Bob and he'll hook you up.

Hi Doug, our Chrysler, Plymouth , Dodge, De Sotos & Airflow Headliners are available and were being made here when many of the models were built.

WE have patterns and many hard to find original materials for 60s/70s Muscle cars.

We are wholesale e only (to trim shops and internet dealers) so, may be best to contact me direct.

Got the headliner for my 59 Imperial from Goliners on eBay. Fit and looks great!

My upholstery shop's glass man would not remove the rear windshield for fear of damaging it or the seal. So the shop installed tack strips instead, and they are working fine. Had it installed a year ago.

I have done a headliner on 2 imperials now from goliners (57 and 58). You don't need to remove either windshield for a 2 dr hardtop or 4dr sedan. There are teeth that will puncture and hold the liner at the front and rear near each windshield then the trim pieces hide these areas and also help to hold the liner in place. The 2 door is a bit easier to get straightened out as there are bows very close to the teeth so its not a long run of vinyl to get straightened out. If the teeth are there and intact you can avoid window removal or install tac strips in these areas to hold the liner in the front and rear. Window removal and installation is a lot of extra work that isn't necessary.

I got one from http://wlsheadliners.com/1957-to-1959-dodge-regent-4-door-sedan-hea...

The Dodge Regent was the Plymouth/Dodge hybred sold in Canada.
