1958 Plymouth Belvedere sports sedan

4 door pillarless coupe

many of these used in the making of the film Christine, so not many left now.

Not rusty

Primed ready for final rub down/fill and gloss coat (this is why I'm selling it,as its too large for me to fit in my workshop and paint and now the weather is damp ive missed the opportunity this year.

Comes with paint to finish it (synthetic)

I have already painted the dashboard (looks great) all underside (Gloss red) Chassis - chassis black and inside floor (Red) and under hood and in boot (Black)

Roof has been painted recently in the correct white, looks great.

Just the main bodywork to paint now.

This is an extremely rare car and needs to go to someone who knows what it is and its need to be finished/driven and preserved.

Has all the important trim (not sportone) in great condition. Bumpers are ok, but could really do with rechroming, although they look ok.

All parts to finish it off except:

Exhaust - can be made easily

Fuel tank - new ones are available, or get one made

headlining

distributor cap/leads/plugs

air filter

brake shoes (old ones are with car but no good)

Gearbox mounting (may be one in the boxes of stuff, but I couldn't find it)

Has loads of new parts in Mopar boxes including:

Full set keys/locks

brake cylinder repair kits (inc master cylinder)

bushes

switches

lenses

lots of bits

This car needs to be viewed, as there is still a considerable amount of fitting to do after paint (unless you leave it in red oxide, as it looks good anyhow)

MOT exempt

Tax Exempt

Not registered in UK yet, but all customs import paperwork is with car and duty has been paid.

Seats/door cards a bit sad, but ok to use (Back seat needs covering.

I know this car is worth many thousands done and would break for several thousand 1 section of trim alone is worth £300 and there are 12 of them!)

I don't want to see it broken, just go to someone who will finish it off and use it.

I am looking to buy a smaller classic car after this, that I can fit in my workshop and restore/improve over the winter , but no offers of 1980's rubbish please

Note - This car does not run/drive - it will need to be trailered away.
