Wow, Red Ram.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words - hell, from what I've seen here, I hope you have just as many pics!

Please keep 'em coming! As one who wishes he could've been there, these images are a darn good substitute.

Gees - I live 160 miles from you and haven't seen your car until it was in the Cherokee Inn parking lot in Tulsa!!! Hopefully our paths cross "closer" in the future.

Well, she didn't used to get out much, but we're talking of changing that, what with our new confidence in the car. I guess we didn't meet, then?....Mopar-to-ya and I discussed attending the Shakopee Minn. show in 2008. It was just held the weekend before we left for Tulsa. Here's pix: http://mbmopar.com/Album/Shakopee2007/index.html And, the Minnesota Street Rod Association is holding their Back to the 50's weekend as I type this! That might be something to meet at next year: http://www.msra.com/BTT50's/BackToThe50s.htm Cheers, Rob

How about Morden's Corn & Apple Festival show the last weekend in August? Great car show - great people, free corn on the cob, free apple cider, a great music concert -- and not that far from PLP.....see you there?

RE: Elie,MB tornado photos. Two semi-trailer trucks got thrown around in that storm. One tipped over, the other thrown out into a field. Did a a safety inspection on the tipped over one when it was being brought across the border to return to its owner company here in the States....actually not all that bad for what it went thru.

Hi Clive and Charlie. It was great meeting you guys too! You really had a knack for being on top of events as they unfolded. Glad your night in Houston turned out OK. It's a good thing the Windsor wasn't red or blue in colour, I think! hehehe. Thanks for the photo of us at the car show. Also, thanks for the Small Town Giants CDs, Charlie. Listened to it on the road the other day and thought it was really good and had a real vintage sound. The Farrells play Gretsch too. Yeah, they have a high energy show, and, being brothers, are really musically tight. I'll give them your CD when I see them......I hope the 59 shows up on time and as you left it. We'll have something else in common soon; I'll be the owner of a 57 Windsor coupe by week's end!

Hi all......We had a fantastic adventure going to Tulsarama, and wouldn't have changed a thing even if we had known the condition the Belvedere would be in.........
...............I have to correct this statement a bit. If we could do it again, we'd book at least a couple of nights at the Doubletree to get to meet more people and spend more time with those we did get to know. Also, to enjoy some of the parking garage refreshments. ;)........We want to thank Aime Verrier for the work he did on the Dodge in preparation for the trip. It sure increased our confidence and enjoyment............I forgot to mention the odometer hit 57 000 on the way home.

Thanks, Charlie (may I call you Chuck?) ; I was 30 y.o., when I bought my car--seems kinda hard to believe, now.

The CAR was only 23 y.o., when I bought IT!!!

Thanx for the Avatar posting , Rob!!

One of the FUNNIEST things I've ever seen, & only saw it ONCE, was a sardonic review of astrological characteristics, & I
WISH that I'd made a copy of it, but DO recall what it said, about LEOS, in part;

"They're arrogant bas***ds, who love to kiss mirrors"!

Of, course, that's not TRUE, but, I only wish that I could quote the characteristics, for the OTHER zodiac- signs!!!

Being a LEO, is such a burden, to have to bear, in regards to the rest of the world.

Thanx, Rob!

That is definitely an up-dated Horror-scope, as I distinctly recall being called arrogant, but NOT theiving, and, Herpes wsn't even
heard-of, when I read the listing (a long time ago)!

No Jimmy, they just asked for photos on their website, so I emailed them a couple. The next morning, people were phoning to say they saw it in the paper. Some asked if I was a "Storm Chaser" now. I said "No, I'm a Storm Runner-Awayer." :P
