..If Ron wouldn't have got that 56 NY'er restored, by Tulsa, he was going to drive his 59 NY'er there.

As it was, the 56'er was discovered to have a weak fuel pump, sticking front (or were they: rear?) brakes, somewhat vague
steering control, AND apparently badly worn valve seats, which caused the 354 Hemi to DRINK oil (but, still, to get 16+ mpg!!!)

BTW, does anyone know the OEM rear end gear ratio, for a 56 NY'er?????

In the spirit of road-tripping this Spring/Summer , I thought I'd 'bump' this thread to Page 1, for easy access, along with a couple other road-anthologies!!

Well, did stay at the Doubletree, had a drink with Boyd and his crew down in the skanky Hotel lounge, but that was about it as far as the Hotel was concerned - we used the garage to park our super-fly MoPar ride - the awesome 2002 Chrysler Town & Country -
The Belvedere stayed home - She heard all about the trip when I got home.

Boyd stayed at the Crown Plaza; he never made an appearance @ the Lobby Bar, to my knowledge.

I meant Crowne Plaza - and he did come down the night before - the bar I am referring to was the one at the top of the escalators. I was sitting at the bar itself and they went to the easy chairs and small couches near the big screen television. I had Doubletree on my mind from reading a previous post. As a matter of fact, my room was freshly renovated and there was very little hot water because the plumber hadn't installed the shower controls properly. When I mentioned that to the front desk at check-out, the gal gave me a pass for a free brunch - now that was good!

Just for general reference purposes, I'd like to bump this, and my other thread, to the top of this board, for
event reference purposes.
