Expert Posts: 1480 Location: Australia | Hello everyone! I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in a reproduction copy of the 'very rare' 1961 Plymouth Data Book? I have painstakingly scanned each page of my 1961 Plymouth 'Ross Roy' Data Book and have made some reproductions (for my own use to prevent wear and tear on the original)... I have created two books, one that contains all of the Valiant info including bulletins sent to the dealership and another that contains all the Plymouth info including bulletins (this brings the price down so that you only buy the one you need)... Please see photos below... All copying is in b/w (good quality) and each book is spiral bound with a clear plastic front and black card back... Please see photos below... Books will be $25au each plus postage... If you want one grab one because I won't keep printing them... Please email me if you are interested... mod_madness_66@hotmail.com Thanks Adriana (data.jpg) (data 2.jpg) Attachments ---------------- data.jpg (110KB - 208 downloads) data 2.jpg (100KB - 199 downloads)

Exner Expert 19,174 posts. Neil passed away 18 Sep 2015. You will be missed, Neil! Posts: 19146 Location: bishop, ca | That illustration reminds me of the 1961 Jo-Han Plymouth car models. In 1961, the Jo-Hans (John Hanley) had radically new cast-in colors, and the PLY's had a beautiful Sea Foam Green color, plus torsion bars and seat belts and a record player..neat stuff, back then. But, you 'had' to have been 11 years old, to appreciate the impact of those 1961 Mopar car designs! Edited by d500neil 2013-09-25 9:50 PM

Expert Posts: 3156 Location: NY & VT | Wish I could find such a nice repro for my 58 Chrysler! Story: growing up my good friend 4 houses down our street's Dad was the Sales Mgr for a large Dodge dealership, and at the end of each model year he brought home all the "obsolete" Ross Roy books brochures for us to look at and "play cars" with... I recall Richie had at least the '55 thru '64 versions, and he gave me the '59 one at some point. Mine, and probably his too, were eventually tossed out... if we only knew!! :-( Edited by firedome 2013-11-04 10:03 AM

Expert Posts: 1480 Location: Australia | Hello again Oldwood, As I told you last time I do not get on here much, so email me directly please. I was only alerted to your message here by an email from my Father who saw it. When you emailed me last time on the 9/9/14, I replied and said to give it another week as the post from Australia can be slow. I received no reply to this email. I have now given you a full refund and ask for you to resubmit payment when the book finally arrives. All other copies have reached their destination without problem. Please give me the courtesy of emailing me directly with any correspondence as I do not get on Forwardlook much these days. mod_madness_66@hotmail.com Thank you, Adriana
