| Is there a difference between a 1957 savoy sports coupe and a 2 door hard top when it comes to glass replacement.

But there is the W435 bubble windshield (PN 1759 485) that was supposed to be in the 1957 Plymouth convertibles (and a bunch 58 Dodge, etc. hardtops)

Location: Wyoming | In GM-speak, coupe (or sports coupe) can often mean a sedan or post car (non-hardtop car). So if the car you’re needing glass for has a fixed frame around the window when the window is rolled down, that side glass is not interchangeable with 2 door hardtop glass. Windshield and rear window I can’t speak to, but I’d guess those would be shared with other sedans (post), not hardtops. |

Not quite sure what you're trying to say. The W451 was in hardtops in '57, while the W453 was in convertibles. I hope you're not relying on an artist's drawing to make a point.

Sorry Ron. One of us is not be able to read properly. Maybe I need a new prescription because I see "Sports Coupe" on the 57 Plymouth brochure info.

| My concern was when I searched for glass for the 57 Savoy the the company asked me
if my car was a 2 door hardtop or a sports coupe. So I wasn't sure what that meant,
Is a sports coupe the same as a 2 door hardtop. I needed to know before I order the glass.
Once its ordered its mine, no returns. Just wanted to be sure before I order it. Is there a difference? |

Location: Southwest VA | "Sport Coupe" was indeed a marketing term for two-door hardtops, but "Sports Coupe" never was. Much like "Sport Fury" vs "Sports Fury". Did you ever notice that half of all Sport Fury cars you see listed for sale (regardless of year) are listed as "Sports Fury"? |
