One was only a couple of miles from my house and coming fast in my direction. It was pretty scary, but we were lucky that the other two had already occurred so there were lots of equipment and crew on standby, ready to go. Because of that, they were able to take it out before it became a 3rd disaster.

Oh, man Nathan!  That is scary.  The human tragedy is terrible.  As a distant afterthought, there must have been some irreplaceable classic cars lost in those fires.

I remember hearing about Castaic evacuations
and thinking if you were involved.
