What type of switch is used on 1958 Imperial models? It is a kind with 3 screw posts in the back or 4? Does it connect to the dash with a screw bezel or a set screw in the back? Does anyone have a part number?

Based on my previous investigations of Neutral Starting Switches, your 58 Imperial should have Neutral Starting as per this video:

If that is true, the electrical component of your ignition switch is a three terminal 1770 040 that is attached to the dash from the bottom by a set screw. There are several switches available from a variety of supplies on eBay:
