Push Button Restore on '61 Chrysler

61ChryslerMan Posted 2024-10-07 4:08 PM (#637278) Subject: Push Button Restore on '61 Chrysler Extreme Veteran Posts: 472 Location: the Great Northeast My push buttons work great and the metal caps look great but the button faces are not great. The letters and numbers are faded and blurred. What can I do to restore the buttons to the original look? Can the letters/numbers be repainted? I really want them to look good in daylight and when lit at night. Has anyone done anything? I wondered about getting an old time pin striper to repaint them. Thanks for your ideas. Do you think a pin striper would make a difference?
