1961 Pair of factory cut exhaust manifolds to accommodate the new alternator
VERY Good pair of long rams with no visible cracks or corrosion. matching block offs and all surfaces are exceptional.
crossover pipe, linkage, coil bracket and throttle stop cable stay
one pair of air cleaners to be used as is or restore to your liking.

factory cut exhaust manifolds
Sure about that? I think I've seen 61+ ram ex manifolds without any remains of the -60 generator mount..... |

Location: So. Cal | I would expect the factory to have cut the manifolds for the '60 GT cars that used alternators. so that's one indication that they did do it. Then the story goes that they overproduced the manifolds for 1960 and used the remainders up by cutting them in '61. I'm not sure I buy that, as I would expect the company to just put them into the mopar parts department for resale. But maybe if they had way too many of them? I'm not sure I buy it, as they knew very well that alternators were coming around the corner. But it is possible. |

Location: Pacific Northwest | Not sure. Could be '60 manifolds. The cut is clean and matches the patina/age of the manifolds.
so, I can only assume it was factory. because I too, have heard that there were generator manifolds left over.

Location: Lordstown, Ohio | and the fella i got mine from had G conv he raced. the rams were removed and put on a shelf. he installed inline 4s.
also got rid of all the interior other then the front seats to reduce weight. car was fairly solid, but he wanted 70k for a vert that was minus a lot of important pcs. i passed on it. however i was able to purchase all the ram items (which i still have) |
