Cool tour of a 58 Windsor sedan, with a drive around the neighborhood!  Looks like it was posted about a year ago.  Tough to tell if he's trying to sell the car or what.  Never seen a hood-mounted data plate before!

That's a 58 Windsor thing, my Dartline is the same way.

Yes, the '58 remote mirror is unique and quite rare. I've only ever seen one of them. The guy in the video is Austin, who was a member on here "PlymouthFury". He sold the car soon after this video was made. Here is the picture of the data tag from the video for anyone interested. I would expect one of those options to indicate the rare remote mirror.

Remote Control Mirror code 402 must be here!
Unfortunately this slot is blank. This item has been installed later as an aftermarket option.

The paint code XMM tells us this car had Ermine (white) roof and Mesa Tan lower colour originally.
The car was repainted in all-white.

Oh, it has not FACTORY regular left outside rear view mirror as well…
The code 401 must be here…

Or this item included in some accessory group…
Maybe it is “1” below “H” in the left of middle row on the tag (Accessory Group No. 1 – code 311)… I guess…
I return with this question to my old thread about this:

No, it still has its original paint. Look at the end of the video and you can see the paint colors a little better.
