Location: northern germany | Yes, thank you. I'm aware that 7° valve locks are available. Still need to know the OE lock angle. My Mopar Performance catalog only lists 8° or 10° degree locks. The 8° I guess is for stock retainers? Or is both 7 and 8 actually the same? |

Location: northern germany | OK, got into that and there is no mistake, unbelievable but true, OE is more like 8° and all the replacement stuff you can buy "to fit our cars" are about 7°. Now I know, why MOPAR Performance only talks about 8° Locks and retainers!
Bought a set of quality locks for Mopar Big Blocks from Rock Auto and they wobble around in the OE seats like crazy, they probably work, but are not correct. I measured them carefully up, using a formula and also used prussian blue and an adjustable conical reamer to verifie my discovery.
This is NOT a wear thing. The OE angle is steeper!
I decided to cut my Titanium retainers OE 8° as I like it better, even though I will be stuck with used OE or rare valve locks.

Location: northern germany | 3/8" of course but they have to fit too. No such thing as single groove locks in the FL world, as far as far as I know. |

Location: northern germany | Are there any valve stems in the FL world, that are not 3/8" OE?
