Hi fellas. I am trying to clarify the different types of front windshield surround garnish trims on the 1957 and 1958 Plymouth models.
How many different types were used in each year and are they different according to the model of the car they were on?
How interchangeable are they? For instance, can the trim from a sedan front screen fit onto a coupe? Are all front windshields the same across the range?

Bottom line is I need a full set of windshield trims for a 2 door hardtop. My car is a Christine clone and currently has 1957 trims. I am not happy with the fit and wonder if I can bolt a set of 1958 brightwork straight on instead. Finally, does anyone have a full set to sell to me.

Sedan will not interchange. 2dr hardtops and 4dr hardtops will interchange.
