Location: Wild Wonderful | I have a good title. 326 engine. Not running, but the engine does turn.
I used parts from other cars to put this car back together. I call it Fraunkensteen.

Location: Wild Wonderful | I got a green steering wheel from the other car, so of course I had to paint it.

Location: Wild Wonderful | Well, I made some changes. I am using the parts that are available. 58 Chrysler quarters,
with 58 Desoto tail lights. Hey, if you're gonna change those awesome 59 Dodge tail lights,
the only thing that will look just as good is the 58 DeSoto lights. Then I painted the roof and wheels red.
I replace the trunk floor with the one from the 59 Chrysler. Still working on the other floors and front.
I will be adding power steering. I wish I had some power brakes to put on it, but I guess I will leave
that to the new owner.

Location: Branson, MO | I often wondered how a DeSoto or Chrysler would look like with a “sport roof” (Dodge/Plymouth) instead of the more formal roof they have. Now I have my answer and I must admit I’m a bit disappointed. But I don’t know whether it’s because I’m so use to the stock configuration or if the “sport roof” would grow on me? Until I saw these pictures, I was thinking I would prefer the “sport roof” but not so sure now. |

Location: Wild Wonderful | Going from the swept wings to the plain, smooth fins is quite a change. But give it a chance.
Wait until I put all the chrome back on. It will look much sharper then.

Location: Okielahoma | I like it! But the lack of stainless on the roof gives a shorn look regardless of the quarters, kinda like seeing someone that shaved off their eyebrows, that could look really good with all the trim, in place. In my mind, every 59 dodge 2dr should've had the wide roof molding as well not just the crl. What you've created are the makings of an incredible custom, at least I can see it. |
