Hi, I understand there is 2 different sizes of the ball and trunion joint. But which one fits a Dodge Royal 1957 with torqueflight and a 325V8? Need to order a new rubber boot before the joint gets damaged.

Just get a boot for a '95 Neon. It comes with different step sizes. Cut it to the proper size you need. It works and lasts better than one made for your car. Better quality rubber. Search through the forum for Neon boot and you will find more info.

55-56 driveshaft rubber boot & clamps

I used Dorman Silicone Rubber boots for my 1955 plymouth and they have worked great for 2 years so far. I think the 1995 Neon boots are more probably more rugged, like Nathan says, but these silicone boots are real easy to install and very inexpensive. You can get an open box boot from Amazon for less than $10. I've been real happy with mine and even bought a couple of spares. The last post in the "55-56 driveshaft rubber boot & clamps" thread has all of the install information and the boot information. It is an option to consider.
