| I have a 56 Coronet with manual steering. I understand the switch wire goes thru the steering shaft, however I can’t determine where the wire enters the steering shaft. Can anyone advise on this please? So, I now know how the wire gets into the shaft. Does anybody know the part number for the seal where the wire enters the steering box or better yet, does anyone one know where I could obtain the seal? Thanks for any assistance in this matter.

Your answers are there. Del56 has the size and the PN for the seal.
Getting the wire pulled up would be like "fishing" house electrical 14/2 wire only smaller. 0.035 welding wire might work as the "fish tape".

Cal | I've fished it up there before. It pushes up there much easier than you would think. Clean the bottom of your steering box and you should find the hole to insert it. |
