Have the manual trans cars been equipped with factory air conditioning?

There are comments on the BAT that
a) the steering wheel is all wrong and
b) there is a blanking plate where the Powerflite shifter would have been.
The answers to both are probably related to the fact that for the few number of 56 (or 55) Chryslers that were ordered with manual transmissions, Chrysler wasn't going to
a) create a whole new manual steering column with shifter rods, etc for the limited run so they used the 54 Chrysler manual trans shifter, steering column and steering wheel.
We discussed that some time ago in the context of the Kiekhaefer 300 race cars.
b) create a whole new dash with the hole for the Powerflite shifter not punched out, etc. Hence the fancy blanking plate

| I believe it’s a known car in 300 club. My concern is that all the pot metal needs to be redone. If the pot metal is that rough, then it was likely a rough car at time of restoration. If you look at grill, lot of stress marks it appears. For a lot of people this isn’t a big deal, but the car is shot to look like a show car, it’s a high driver car and there should be a big price difference if that’s the case |

| Beautiful car. If it’s a confirmed manual with factory engine it’s well worth the money. Hope she’s driven!
