Hey, I know all you cool long-time Forward Lookers know this stuff but, as a relative Noob, I am still learning. And you know what that means...
Yup, I have to share what I learned.
In this case, I bought a binder of random 1950 to about 1961 Factory Service Bulletins and there are lots of things to share (a bit at a time). In this case (below), No. 943-CH from Dec. 16, 1955
shows the difference between the Kelsey-Hayes and Bendix power brake boosters.
I believe the Kelsey-Hayes design was borrowed from one of Lawrence Welk's used accordians. Not sure what the Bendix "can" was based on.

Location: Connecticut | Amongst the TSBs that you bought, do you have any specific to 55 Desoto ? I have about 1/3 of them, beginning with 677. I'm missing 548 thru 676. The Desoto TSBs have a dark red band at the top with the words, 'Important Service Information' in white. Thanks, Ron | |
