Location: Milton, Ontario Canada | For those of you not on Facebook. I posted the following. We just said good bye to an items that I have had for 37 years. I consider it a chapter that just finished in my book of life. I went with my girlfriend so many years ago and bought my 1955 Plymouth Belvedere. I’m still with the same girlfriend. I watched as my 3 daughters grew up with me and this car. We would go to car shows and have a blast. Katherine was in diapers, I had playpen, bottles, diapers, toys for success at these shows. Diane and Liz would also bring a friend. We would be in the middle of Niagara Falls and pull over on Clifton Hill and get ice cream. Ice cream was always allowed in the car with my girls. I met the nicest people with this car and have many fond memories. We won awards and had a lifetime of looks and question that make me smile everyday. This car always started and never left me stranded. Everyone has asked if I’m sad. I’m not sad but happy that I was part of this journey. The new buyer will have as much fun as I have, I am certain. The car is just beautiful and nothing but fun. It’s a driver and not a trailer queen. For now, it’s just a memory and here are some of the last pictures I took with her.

Location: northern germany | 55-56 and 60-61 had beautiful sedan rooflines, but wth were they thinking during the "main" FL-years? The 57-59 sedans are called turtlebacks not without a reason.
Not a big friend of red/white but that is a beautiful car. The Belvs always had the nicest body decor. Good luck with the sale. |
