1958 Imperial Elec Antenna

These are very hard to find and I paid decent coin for it. Of course It doesn't work but I have a broken one which the motor is good so that part will be ok. The mast has jammed up solid and needs freeing up. Any suggestions in what I can bath it in to hopefully brake it loose. Hopefully that will loosen up the grime that's probably the culprit that preventing the mast from extending properly.
