Not mine but one of our fellow Forward Lookers with a 57 D500 double rocker shaft 325 who would like to improve his car. He found that one of the double rocker shaft brackets, the one at the front end of the left head (near Cylinder No. 1) (and/or rear end of the right head, near Cylinder No. 8) that is drilled for pins to hold the rocker shafts in place, was apparently damaged at some point in the past. (see photo below). It has been repaired and is functioning fine but still, he would rather replace it with a good new or used one. The PN is likely 1328 807 (so going back to the first Dodge 241 double rocker shaft engine).
I searched 1328 807 with the usual suspects, i.e. Hiltop, Len Dawson, eBay and Grease Monkey Garage (formerly Collectors Auto) and came up dry.
Then I thought that one of you guys with a 241 - 270 - 315 - 325 double rocker engine might have a spare used one kicking around. See attached.
I also wonder whether a middle one might be adapted to become an end one by drilling it for the pins. (??) (Wild @ss guess).
Here's hoping

Learning something (again). The end double rocker shaft brackets are considerably different (one has solid pins that look like they are hammered in; the other is just a cotter pin). I don't think that the middle brackets can be adapted to work on the hammered-pin end although they might be adaptable to the cotter-pin end.
This is a photo of an generic, non-specified, double rocker shaft system, that is not for a solid lifter car. No idea about the make.
