Has anybody got any tips or advice on removing the cap/plugs inside the ends of the rocker shafts. They're full of crud and i want to flush them out. The plugs seem very tight in there.

Thanks
Owen

Drill a hole in the plug, thread a sheet metal screw in and use a claw hammer or crow bar to pry it out. Once one end is out you can use a long rod to punch the other plug out.
