Today my Mirror Matic Mirror package from Sweden arrived with a 1959 stile Mirror Matic Mirror. Unfortunately the electron tube with 7 pins was broken, maybe during transport.

The only word and number I can read is TUNG-... and a number 3225906-..

Can somebody identify the part, if this still exists, i would like to replace it or if somebody has a work around with modern parts I would be very happy

Thank you all

Dani

Just wait until you get the replacement tube Daniel. They normally work even after all those years. Mind that there's a "warm-up" time before the mirror works.

Connect the mirror to the "H" terminal on the light switch with an additional toggle switch (I beleive you have the "dipped beam law" during daytime as well as we), otherwise the mirror will be "hot" all the time which is bad for the mirror.

In mine, also a 1959 MirrorMatic is the coil broken (the fine wire respectively). I do not get an Ohm value between the two posts of the coil....
