What is the original paint in the engine room. The color of my car is: bottom and ceiling white paint. Rosequarz paint, Central on bonnet and boot.

If you are asking about the panels under the hood I believe the under hood and firewall are your main body color (your door jambs are your main body color) and the inner fenders and core support are gloss or possibly semi gloss black. That’s the way they are on my ‘59 DeSoto Firesweep that was built at the Dodge plant and it is factory original with the black paint appearing to be a somewhat shiny semi gloss.

Hope this helps.
